Heather Godlewski is a Philadelphia based artist with strong ties to the South. She works in multiple mediums including assemblage, collage, oil, pastel, and combinations of all of the above. Recent work is a blending of painting and collage, and is inspired by vintage photography, dirt roads, and the wonders of nature. Recurring themes are longing for home, desires both met and unmet, anxiety, and curiosity. Heather is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, a recipient of a Scheidt travel scholarship, and a member of the National Collage Society.
